Recently, the 4th PRO International Sochi Mineral Fertilizer Forum was successfully held in Sochi, Russia. Coinciding with the 95th anniversary of the start of Russia’s nitrogen fertilizer industry, this forum serves as a key professional event for the mineral fertilizer sector across Russia and the CIS region. The conference brought together fertilizer producers, EPC contractors, equipment manufacturers and full-industry-chain service providers from the region to discuss hot topics including nitrogen and phosphate fertilizer production processes, equipment technologies, EPC projects, green sustainable development and supply chain collaboration.
As the only Chinese enterprise participating in the forum, Tianli Energy delivered technical presentations, showcasing advanced domestic chemical fertilizer and chemical technologies as well as complete set engineering solutions to peers from Russia and the CIS, and actively explored cooperation opportunities for Sino-Russian chemical industry collaboration.
At the thematic sub-forum on “Nitrogen and Phosphate Fertilizer Production, Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development”, Tianli Energy gave a keynote speech entitled Technology for Granular Urea and Nitro Fertilizers, and presented supporting processes for chlorine-consuming products. Tailored to the actual development status of the local fertilizer industry, the presentation offered high practical engineering reference value and attracted extensive attention from delegates on site. Many industry participants raised technical enquiries and held in-depth discussions with our team on new projects after the speech, marking a fruitful technical sharing session. During the forum, Tianli Energy was also interviewed by Russia’s national television, with the report broadcast on Russia’s national news program, greatly raising the company’s brand recognition in the chemical market.
While attending the forum, Tianli Energy held face-to-face business negotiations with multiple local end-users and engineering service providers. Both sides exchanged views on planned granular urea projects in the region, development of functional fertilizers, supporting chlorine-consuming system solutions for caustic soda, and feasibility studies for projects. Preliminary cooperation intentions were reached, with follow-up face-to-face meetings and email communications scheduled to push forward project implementation.
This participation achieved multiple goals including technology demonstration, brand promotion and business opportunity development, enabling in-depth engagement with core stakeholders of Russia’s fertilizer market. Building cooperation on proven technologies, Tianli Energy closely aligns with the industrial development demands of Russia, explores diverse cooperation models, helps upgrade the local fertilizer industry, and builds a bridge for mutually beneficial chemical industry cooperation.
