Recently, SINOPEC Shanghai Engineering Co., Ltd. (SSEC), Shandong Jilian Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd. and Shandong Tianli Energy Co., Ltd. held a tripartite framework cooperation signing ceremony in Shanghai. Sha Yu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of SINOPEC Shanghai Engineering Co., Ltd., Wang Jianxin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Group, Wan Junguo, Chairman and General Manager of Shandong Jilian Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd., and other leaders attended and witnessed the signing.

This cooperation focuses on the R&D and industrial application of key complete-set process technologies and equipment for post-treatment systems in the petrochemical and chemical industries. Targeting the development needs of the industry, the parties will optimize the performance of process equipment, shore up the weaknesses in post-treatment equipment for high-end new materials, and advance the independent controllability of key equipment. The signing marks the official establishment of a collaborative cooperation mechanism among the three parties. Each side will give full play to its distinctive strengths in engineering design, resource coordination, thermal process technologies and equipment. The three parties will jointly deepen R&D and innovation in thermal process technologies and equipment, coordinate to promote the high-end development and localization of industrial equipment, and enable high-quality industrial development.

Going forward, the three parties will focus on breakthroughs in the new materials sector, accelerate the iterative upgrading of thermal process technologies and equipment for high-end polyolefins and specialty fine chemicals, and continuously strengthen core competitiveness. They will foster new quality productive forces through scientific and technological innovation and build momentum for the high-quality development of the new materials industry.
