Valine

1. Material Overview

Valine is one of the 20 amino acids that make up proteins. It belongs to branched-chain amino acids and is one of the eight essential amino acids and glucogenic amino acids for the human body.

Valine works with two other high-concentration amino acids (isoleucine and leucine) to promote normal body growth, repair tissues, regulate blood sugar, and provide the energy needed.

2. Process Introduction

Wet valine is conveyed to the buffer silo by the upstream conveyor. It is then transported to the inlet of spin flash dryer through feeding screw conveyor, where it is impacted and dispersed by the high-speed airflow from the bottom up. The relatively loose material is directly dried by the air and blown upwards, while the larger material that cannot be directly blown away is quickly dispersed and dried by the flashing dispersing blades during its descent, before being blown away again. The dried product is carried by hot air into the cyclone and bag filter.

3. Technical Advantages

1) Structural advantages of spin flash dryer

The drying chamber of the flash dryer is equipped with a high-speed rotating crushing and dispersing mechanism, which, in conjunction with the conical chamber and guide vane design, can directly disperse the wet material in the form of valine filter cake (with a moisture content of 30-40%) into fine particles, simultaneously forming a fluidized state. This prevents the wet material from caking and blocking, ensuring thorough mixing with hot air and uniform heating. The moisture content of the dried product is stable and uniform, effectively guaranteeing the crystal form and whiteness.

2) Short-stroke temperature control structure

The short-cylinder drying chamber design allows valine particles to remain in the chamber for only 2-5 seconds. Hot air is evenly distributed through the annular air distribution channel to wrap the material. Combined with 70-80℃ low-temperature hot air, the heat transfer intensity is precisely controlled to avoid local overheating that could cause valine denaturation. At the same time, the inner cylinder wall is polished to prevent sticking, reducing the risk of material residue and deterioration.
